The Man Who Fell To Earth

Pop star Dave's just right as an alien being.. WHEN I think of him at all - which isn't very often - I always think of him as an alien being from outer space.
Pop star David Bowie' s emaciated frame and his ethereal, pale, enigmatic features suggest that he is a person ill-equipped to cope with the rigours of life on our particular planet.
So he is probably ideal for the leading role in THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH (X), Leicester Square Theatre.

Strange things which mystify and defy pure logic have always happened and always will. Even today a phenomenon such as Uri Geller becomes a case for examination and re-examination which more often than not results in the sceptical scientists remaining unconvinced by their findings. When this happens what could have been a fact becomes a myth, and so in 1976 people still argue whether or not the Loch ness Monster exists. The Man Who Fell To Earth, directed by Nicholas Roeg examines and explores just how society might behave were we suddenly to find a man in our midst whose intelligence far out-shines that of anybody else in the world...
...(Nicholas Roeg) has been pretty shrewd in the casting of David Bowie whose own interest in the bizarre is reflected in his musical repertoire.
