The name 'Ziggy' wasn't invented by David Bowie.

In fact there was a well-known trumpeter called Ziggy Elman, who had played in one of the leading big bands.

'Ziggy Elman and his Orchestra'.

Co-incidentally, this is a recording of the popular instrumental 'Stardust.'

No release date is anywhere on the labels.
