Kathy Westmoreland Refutes Elvis Double Story
On March 11th, I sent an e-mail to Kathy Westmoreland, that she responded to on April 27th. I'm closing this bulletin with the text of these; in the next bulletin - coming soon -I'll respond to what Kathy wrote to me.
Kathy, I am concerned about an article written by Todd Slaughter and published in Elvis Monthly a few years back. (If you have back issues, I can give you the date and other details). The article very much seemed to be implying that a man performed onstage in place of Elvis Presley on one or more occasions. The article ended by saying that we, the readers would have to figure out what he, Todd Slaughter, was hinting at in the text, because whatever this was, it would have to remain a secret. The title of the article was taken from the information revealed in it that there were two copies of Elvis' Blue Rainbow suit - one of these labelled Two of Two. I'd be interested in knowing any light you can shed on the content of this article; and I could send you a copy should you need it. Best wishes, Daniel Transit.
Dear Daniel, Thank you for corresponding with me. I have none of the back issues of publications that you mentioned, and to tell you the truth, wouldn't waste any time reading them. I don't know where people dream up these wild stories, nor for what possible reason. No one ever appeared in place of Elvis at any time! Thanks again, Kathy Westmoreland.
