'"I
have never seen anything like it," said Mr.John Kelley, of Fairview,
Pool-in-Wharfdale, Yorkshire, commenting on a flying saucer that he and his
mother saw while they were motoring in Upper Wharfdale one day in July. Mr.Kelley
said he stopped the car by the roadside between Barden and Burnsall.
"We were sitting looking towards Simon's Seat when an object appeared
over the hill," he said. "At first it looked rather like a kite
or a big balloon. As we watched, it came nearer. It was grey and round, rather
like looking at a grey moon.
It was possibly about a couple of miles away and was about twice the size
that an aeroplane would have been at the same distance and height.
Then it turned on its side, and it was just like two saucers, one on top of
the other. It hovered about a bit before it went back over Simon's Seat."

Mr.Adrian A.C.Mills had seen several unidentified flying objects
during a period of about an hour from 2.15 p.m. onwards. He was at business
in North Row, W.1...
'...At 3:40 p.m., while leaving the building, Mr.Mills looked into the sky
to see two diamond shapes form as they flew east in close formation, from
approximately south at about 70 degrees with the horizon. He had these in
view for about seven seconds, during which time they became brighter as they
flew eastwards - but not like reflected light, more like milk white. The they
gradually faded, keeping the same size. They appeared to travel the distance
of three feet at arm's length.'

'11:20 P.M. Mr. and Mrs.M.O.Barton saw one bright cherry-red,
diamond-shaped object fly slow, hover, and make fast half loops for 10 minutes.'

August 1, 1963: Oxhey, Hertfordshire, UK.
'Fourteen-year-old Hampden schoolboy John Castelete saw a flying saucer in
the sky last Thursday through his telescope, bought last October in the Portobello
Road. At least, it might have been a flying saucer, but it could have been
anything. John said it was not saucer shaped and all his friends from around
his home in Oakdale Road, South Oxhey, agreed that it was "very odd."
For nearly two hours John Watched it, as the crowd around him became larger
and larger. It appeared to be stationary, but John, with the wisdom of several
months' plane spotting, remarked that it must be moving to keep up with the
turn of the earth.
Denis Haisman, 14, John's next-door neighbour, was among the observers. "Very
Strange," was his comment. "I have never seen anything like it before."
John dismissed
the idea that it was a balloon. He had watched balloons before, he said, and
they never remained so long. The object he described was revolving, solid
in the middle, diamond-shaped and he said he could see through it at the edges.
As it revolved, he said,it was at first bright and then dull alternately.'

'11:15 P.M. Mr. and Mrs.L.J.Wise saw one silver, diamond-shaped object with
several balls constantly in very fast motion around it, and much light. The
object hovered over the trees for 3-4 minutes, while a dog barked, and then
zipped out of sight. Sighting lasted one hour.'

Early-1966 (?): Black Mountain, Canada.
'Another "mother ship" was seen by two teenagers
who were parked on Black Mountain. They saw a saucer-shaped object making
a noise like "a transport truck," but the noise soon dropped to
a low hum. Then they saw a small diamond-shaped craft emerge from the big
ship. It circled the saucer and then went back inside it.'

May 16, 1966 / 12.30pm onwards: Temple City, California, USA.
A newspaper editor, office manager and other/s witnessed a grayish-green
object changing shape from rectangular, roughly diamond-shaped, to domed disc
reflecting sunlight, apparently metallic, high in the northern sky. They watched
it move around 'lazily' for 15 minutes until it suddenly moved off, as fast
as a jet aircraft.
At 1.10pm, at a nearby school, a dark, domed, disc-shaped object was watched
by a scholl principal and children.
At the same time, Charles Hardman observed an object tumbling across the sky,
which, through binoculars was sen to be shaped 'like a diamond with concave
sides.' Viewed without binoculars it seemed to change shape, but this was
apparently due to different angles of vision.

June 10, 1967: Redding, California, USA.
William M.Murphy saw what he determined to be "something that is
not of our technology" for a duration of one minute 45 seconds, while
travelling north by car on highway 99:
"It looked like a large bright red and white triangular kite tumbling
through the air. It was fairly flat or it may have been shaped like a tetrahedron,
but very bright and red on one side only. I then noticed a small bright white
light near the 'kite' as it rose above the buildings. (It) followed the thing,
but vanished near the end of the sighting. At one time a second smaller light
was simultaneously visible..."
The kite-like object "..moved with an undulating motion and the trailing
edge was peculiarly indistinct as it passed overhead...
...The most Earthly explanation I can think of for this tumbling triangular
aeroform was that it was a kite broken loose or held aloft by balloons (the
lights). Yet it was moving too fast - and into the ground wind..."

August 17, 1968: Brazil.
UFO investigator Irene Granchi had visited a friend in Leblon. On the
return home, waiting for a bus at 9.15 p.m., she looked up to the sky:
'I saw two "stars," although they did not have the characteristics
of stars; one was too large, the other too close to the first. They were both
stationary, when one of them began to travel with a slow, jerky movement that
resembled the swinging motion of a kite. The first large "star"
decreased in size until it disappeared. I looked around for a witness and
asked a workman standing by what he thought the object was that I was pointing
at. He was perplexed. The UFO took four minutes to cross the sky diagonally
and was lost to sight behind the wall of the building.'

May 22, 1969: Australia.
'Several truck drivers reported today that an oblong, brightly shining
flying object followed and hovered above them as they travelled between Esperance
and Lake Grace last night.
John Shanahan, 23, who was driving a newspaper truck, said the object followed
him from Lake Grace, about 200 miles south-east of Perth, to beyond Ravensthorpe,
a distance of about 120 miles.
Mr.Shanahan said that during the drive three other transport drivers, R.Pupland,
R.Kenna and A.Wilson, stopped him along the road between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.
They all claimed to have seen the bright object and estimated its size to
be about 40 ft. by 30 ft.
Mr.Shanahan described the object as being like a huge diamond, or an enormous
light which appeared to have a band around it. He said he was unloading newspapers
at Lake Grace about 2.45 a.m. when the area became brightly lit.
He noticed the object directly above, and got back into his truck, locked
the doors, and drove off.
The object followed above.
"It often sped off at a terrific pace and then returned, hovering above,"
he said.'

'Mr.Jack Zetter, 22, of Seaforth Road, Westcliff, claims he and his wife
saw a UFO from Sutton Road, and followed in their car until losing sight of
it five minutes later.
"At first I thought it was the top of a building with lights on it. But
then it moved," said Mr.Zetter. "It kept moving and stopping. It
was as big as the civic centre. It was like a giant kite. The whole thing
was a kind of silvery light."
He said it was difficult to estimate how far away it was. "I'm certain
it wasn't a plane or a balloon or anything else recognisable."'

'David Wazny, a General Motors employee at the Saginaw, Mich. foundry was
driving to work, west on Hwy M-81, shortly after 5:00 am... when he saw a
bright light over the highway one mile ahead..making a sweeping motion across
the road, 300-600 yards each side of the highway. It dipped toward the ground
on one of the swings north of the highway. The light was bright and white
and appeared to pulsate. He stopped his car and the light hovered almost directly
overhead. He started up again and the light accelerated towards the south
and was out of sight within a short time. It was diamond or kite-shaped with
rounded points. No noise or trails and no EM effects. Looked 170 feet wide
and two to three times as long.'

February 19, 1972: Bacolet, Grenada, West Indies.
From a report by Timothy Ashby, an 18-year-old American:
"At 11.15 p.m... I was awakened by a bright light in the sky outside..
my apartment. Curious, I went outside on to the patio where the object was
more easily observed. To the naked eye it appeared at least five times larger
than the stars in the sky...
I was able to see the UFO quite clearly through field-glasses. It appeared
to be roughly diamond-shaped, although flattened at the top and bottom with
no definable points to the shape. In the centre of the object was a row of
lights, that flashed alternately yellow, green and blue. Surrounding this
the object was covered by a bright red glow, which seemed to continually flicker
around the edges of the object.
After watching the object for thrity minutes, during which time it remained
stationary, I woke my mother and brother to verify the sighting. About ten
minutes following this, the object began to climb slowly upwards (from 35
degrees east) until it reached an angle of roughly 80 degrees where again
it stopped and remained stationary for a few minutes... After another quarter
of an hour the object dwindled to a tiny point and vanished."

'MEN REPORT UFO NEAR GREENUP.
Wm.McMorris and George Tincher were deer hunting Southwest of Greenup at sundown
they said when they spotted a very bright star that looked like it was moving..
as they returned to town the light appeared to be following them. They called
a friend with a telescope, Ted Latta. He and his family reported viewing the
UFO and described its shape as like a diamond, oval on top and coming to a
point on bottom. The tip and both sides were a lot shinier than the rest,
according to the group.'

A large UFO was seen by more than 10 police officers and several members
of the public. These sightings included, among others - 12.10am. At Keswick,
a police sergeant saw something the shape of a "hang glider or diamond,"
giving off a "quiet hum."
12.20am. Several police officers on the shores of Lake Windermere saw a craft
that was described as "triangular or slightly diamond-shaped," and
as resembling "..the shape of a stingray fish."
+12.25am. Police constable on foot patrol at Bowness saw a very large UFO
that appeared to be "kite-shaped, or like a skate fish" airborne
over a nearby hill.
+12.30am. Two police officers near Skelwith Bridge watched a "diamond,
kite-shaped object" moving silently, before disappearing over Morecambe
Bay.

'..Kelly Barger.. said she and her brother, Dave, were travelling.. east,
heading towards the city at approximately 9.45 p.m., when they saw a large
object in the sky approximately 2,000 feet from the ground. She said they
did not realize the object was moving.. until they reached their residence..
and observed the object from the back yard.
Miss Barger said her parents and two small children also observed the craft.
She.. observed (it) with binoculars and followed it as it travelled east out
of the city. She described the craft as being kite-shaped and very large,
comparing the size to a commercial jet-liner, and said (it) had a blue light
and a red light on the sides. The craft also had a group of white lights at
the extreme back end.. on the (underside).. it was making a low humming sound...'

of 71 reports that reached them with specified shape were diamond.

'Yet another classic case of that something.. that is flying about Britain
provoking diamond UFOs.. Here Mr K was driving home at 01.30 on the A45 when
humming sounds appeared. Thinking it was the car he stopped but the noise
persisted. Above was the diamond UFO from which the sound emerged. It hovered
for a few seconds and then moved away towards Rushden. The RAF Alconbury base
(supposed home of USAF Stealth aircraft) is not very far from here.'

At 5.10am, a security guard on the Sandycroft Industrial Estate saw a
dark object silhouetted against the sky, coming towards him. He shone his
powerful torch at it, and it altered course. His colleague then ran to him
'..and shone his torch up as the object moved about the sky clearly visible
as a stingray or diamond shape. At 5.50 they saw some vapour
directly above them and realised this must have come from the object that
had silently passed right over their heads at low height.'

has been photographed by a man named Han with his video camera.
The UFO transforms constantly in the air, sending out dazzling light. First

rubber and then five diamond shaped objects flying in a diamond formation,
